Arta Marku in Serious Crimes, Advises Prosecutors

The Provisional Chief Prosecutor, Arta Marku, took part on Wednesday in the analysis of the Prosecution of Serious Crimes, seeking more co-ordination between the institutions, especially in cases of criminal investigations.
"For the very specificity of criminal offenses that are subject to criminal offenses by the Prosecution for Serious Crimes, where transnational criminal organizations or groups often are interlinked, new energies are required to increase the level of cooperation and co-ordination of work with the enforcement agencies domestic law and especially with international partners” said Marku.
She also tried to encourage and support the acceleration of investigations of all issues by Serious Crimes Prosecutors, saying to them that the independence of Prosecutors remains pristine as a right recognized by the Constitution and the Criminal Procedure Code.
