The European Union Ambassador, Romana Vlahutin defined the political willingness a key element for success in the war on organized crime.

She declared on Wednesday that no one should stand above the law, while adding that it’s up to prosecution to bring them to the justice.

"No one should consider himself above the law. Their name or function should be used a shield to protect them from the law’s punishment. Political willingness is a key element for success in this difficult process,” said Vlahutin.

She also declared that time for a pro-active inquiry, the prosecution and conviction of criminal groups’ most important elements has arrived.
